You may now be required to produce a copy of the Certificate of Liability Insurance when requested to do so by Conservation Officers and other law enforcement authorities.
This certificate covers the liability insurance purchased for each member by the Club thru the BCWF And is explained as follows:

You are required to carry this certification with you while engaged in the above activities and when asked to produce same, required to produce a current BCWF membership card and possibly a Nelson District Rod & Gun Club card which would confirm your current membership.
We attach a copy of the certificate, Note that it is valid only until December 31, 2010. Next year we will be sending out the new certificates along with your new membership cards when we receive your dues.
Please also be reminded that dues next year will be due January 1st and payable before March 31st as per the change in policy made this spring. After that date we will be notifying the BCWF to remove any non-paid members from our/their membership list and therefore there will be no liability insurance coverage until receipt of dues. Please also note that although you may have received a 2010 sticker from the BCWF, unless you are a current paid member of this Club, you are not covered by the liability insurance. The BCWF issues these stickers based on last years membership lists . a problem we are trying to correct.
