Details:
Nelson District Rod and Gun Club is starting a youth shooting program. We will be setting up some fun, reactive targets, and traditional paper targets. Kids can shoot from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Targets will be available for both rim-fire and centre-fire firearms, so don’t forget to bring your own rifles if you have them. There will also be a few firearms available for new youth who would like to try shooting.
All youth participants must be accompanied by an adult. All non-member participants and spectators will need to sign a waiver and pay a $10 guest fee to cover insurance. New shooters are welcome; we will have instructors available to support them.
Range officers will be present to monitor and instruct. Bring the kids out to learn to shoot in a safe and supportive environment. Safety is number one, but fun is never far behind.
