PAL and Core programs

Courses:

NDRGC Core, and PAL programs to be held at Mickey McEwen Hall


PAL:  January 19, 2020, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm plus testing time. Limited to a max of 12 students. Cost: $125.  Minimum student age for PAL is 12 yrs.

CORE:  Feb 1-2, 2020, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm each day.  Minimum of 12 students required.  Cost:  $150. Minimum student age for Core is 10 yrs. Core book required as students should pre-read the book and practice the review questions. Contact: Alan Bond @ 250 352-2289 or Howie Grant @ 250 551-1077 to register.

BC Hunting Important Notice

The Province is implementing a mandatory sampling program that requires hunters to submit the heads from deer harvested in wildlife management units 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-4, 4-5, 4-6 and 4-7 in the Kootenay Region, after Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks discovered five animals with Chronic Wasting Disease 60 km south of the B.C. border.

The Club would like to advise the membership that the Outdoor Range will be closed July 26th from 7:30am-3:00pm. This is in addition to closures on the following dates:
 
July 11th  9:00am-3:00pm
July 26th 7:00am-3:00pm
Sept 20th 8:00am-1:00pm
Sept 30th All Day
Oct 4th All Day

Fishing Forever June 15/19 and Family Fishing Day June 16/19
Both events take place at Cottonwood Lake from 9:00am to 4pm. No licence required .

Fishing Forever: An annual opportunity for disabled people to enjoy a day of fishing without having to bother with the logistics.
Family Fishing Day: A hassle free fishing experience for any family to enjoy.
